# Organization settings

Open **Settings** > **General** to change settings that apply across the Tilecast installation.

## Region and time

Choose the organization language/locale, timezone, date format, time format, and first day of the week.

Clock, Date, and World Clock Widgets can use these organization defaults unless you give the Widget its own format or timezone.

These settings are separate from each person's Studio language. Changing your own language in **My Account** does not change how signage dates or times are formatted for everyone else.

## Organization name

Set the organization name and optional short name here.

Branding and reusable Locations are managed on their own settings pages.
