# Accessibility control

**Accessibility Control Assist** is an Android Player feature. It stays off until someone enables the Tilecast service in Android Accessibility Settings.

When enabled, Tilecast can notice when another app comes to the foreground, wait, return to Tilecast, and use Android's global lock action when Power Assist needs it.

It does not read window text or passwords, click arbitrary controls, perform gestures, approve app installers, or change network settings.

Tilecast's own screens and sensitive Android system screens are excluded from automatic return behavior. You can also allow maintenance apps so approved work is not interrupted.

If the Player keeps leaving Tilecast, automatic return eventually stops for that window instead of continuously fighting the person using the device.
